The Piper

Set in the 1950s after the Korean War, "The Piper" portrays the adventures and fantastical misfortunes of Woo-ryong (Ryu Seung-ryong), a quixotic flute-playing musician, and his sickly son, when they arrive at a village so remote and shrouded in mystery that it is not identified on any map. As the titular piper, Woo-ryong volunteers to exterminate the town's infestation of rats in exchange for medical treatment for his son. However, after the village elder fails to meet his end of the bargain, Woo-ryong bitterly seeks revenge for the wrongs committed to his family. Directed by Kim Gwang-tae.

Directed by Simon Curtis.

Directed by Kim Hak-soon.
